More work on the winch today

Added some gussets due to the foot forward mounting to ensure that the front plate doesn't bow forward in time.

All finished and I even threw on a coat of paint.

These are just shameless pics.

Day off Work,

1. Finished the Rocker Protection for the Heep.

2. Started the fender extentions for the Front fenders. I can't say it's my favorite part of the build.

Then the camera took a stroke so only the 2 pics.

Tube Fender Day today,

Zero in-progress pics but lots of Pics towards the end.

I added a 6" flare to my original tube fenders so the tread will be covered and the Po-Po's stay off my back.

Nice Joints....

Fender Stick out.

Side on, Painted the part that was done towards the front.

I'm not really a fan of how far they stick out but at least the tread is covered.

View from top. I put the bump in there to keep it from looking too goofy,

View from behind.

Thanks Rue, I still need to put in a wider wheel spacer so by the time thats done only the tread will be covered, right now the tread and most of the sidewall are covered.

nice looking flare.
my flares that I built were 6.5" wide, if they were any more, I odn't think my tire would stick out any. I think I'll be cutting them down to 5.5" before Jam. they look too much like dumbo ears

Painted a test patch for the final color. Hotrod Primer Black. Its not a flat so it won't stain.

Yeah I dont like them either that wide. But They cover the Tread, If I take it off the road I'll make another set that have no flare.
