I mean its fine for dirt roads or two-track to a lake or something....but more capable than TJ's and JK's? c'mon man.
His video of him "beating on his patriot" is him, slowly pulling onto an incline in winter, and spinning the tires trying to get up it....whhaaatt? Oh but he has been offroading for years....Gravel roads I bet..
Keeping on track with this thread, I would definitely say get out to Alps road, start small and learn what your rig is capable of. When you find its weaknesses, see if they can be improved on, but don't dump a ton of money into it!

Buddy was really laying into 'er trying to climb up that little berm, wasn't he.
After a performance like that, I'm seriously considering leaving the JK parked in the garage for Jam and taking the Patriot on Crusher. Apparently you can just disconnect your swaybars and it's a rockcrawling machine.
On second thought, NO. I'm with you guys, it's a comfy ride for splashing through some puddles but it's not designed for off-roading. I wasn't at all surprised to read that the fellas who really off-road them are going through tranny's.
