Yep its a 3rd gen... Used from 2000 till now in all the 5.3L chev/gm trucks and SUVs.

I'm stoked to try it you. I have been working with Advanced Adapters on this and will be the first person to try this combination....should be fun. They have been able give me pricing at their cost in return I document the hell out of it.

I have a question on build thread rules. I would like to use this thread to store links to all my images, progress, and general thoughts along the way. I snapped a bunch of before photo's today for refference...is it OK if I post those to this thread for future reference and organization?

Cool...thanks. Funny I'm an IT guy...spend most of my working career working on servers ... yet I more or less skipped social media on the internet... Always racing out of the office to play in the garage ;D

Let the posting begin.

ya, go nuts. We have garage cleaning threads in shop section too, once you get used to the layout or start posting a bunch you can split stuff up by topic.

I like the side exit exaust ;D never noticed that.

Thanks Jan..I dig the side exhaust also...but they did a two into one design because the gas tank was in the way to do this on both sides.

I'm plannng to move the gas tank and go two side exhaust pipes...one per side.
