Still on my originals too, both machines.

The swirl ring 'swirls' the primary airflow around the plasma arc, to make it more dense and give a smaller cut width, to a greater depth. Think lightning tornado! lol

i could not reatach the piece onto the fuel pump. after 1 attempt and putting everything back into the jeep she spewed gas all out of it. is this a replaceable part of will i need the whole pump?

any idea how to get the siver cap off? or where i can buy the replacement? every where i call only sells the whole pump.

Pull the silver "ears " and twist it off . Its the fuel filter , might be dealer only

finally done. new ful pump in and shes running again. how ever i have discovered a newly found exhaust leak. >:(

now looking back upon the job I would do a few things differently next time. based it on the factory skid and the only improvements i made was thicker steel and a fully closed in skid. and after putting it up for the final time tonight i noticed there is roughly 2 or so inches of space between the top of my tank and the bottem of the floor so i supose i could have made my skid tuck up a bit higher than the stock one.

Don't be scared to re-do it or fix up something you aren't happy with. Happens all the time, just doesn't get posted. ;) 2" is a lot. But it is in there and bolted up and protecting the tank, so its a win!
