Looking good.
I started building my rear bumper for my ZJ yesterday ;D gonna start on the front one as soon as it's done.
How did you mount it, did you cut any of the sheet metal on the outside of the frame rails under the headlights?

My Grand was damaged in front, so I removed the front crossmember. I put a 3/16" plate inside the frame rail with 4 nuts welded to it, to line up with the holes in the frame. I cut the ears off the outside of the frame that the crossmember was spot welded to so that the bumper brackets (3/16" plate) could mount flat on the outside of the frame.
I made a new cross member out of 1/8" plate, a 5" piece across the ends of the rails, and a 2 1/2" piece across the top between them.
I plan to cut a square out of the top corners of the plate that has the slots in it, and weld in a piece of square tubing along the bumper bracket (end flush with the front of the bumper), to be recievers for tow points.
I'll take more pictures when I finish up the corners, and when I take it off to finish up the welding, grinding, and painting.

I figured it needed 7 slots, seeing Jeep put one too many in the ZJ grill.

Count them Jeff (try the other eye ;D ), there are 8, same as on my XJ.
Better take a close look at your GC too, it has 8.

Not all Grand Cherokee's have eight slots. MY 5.9 Grand has seven slots.

lines look good, fits in with the front of the rig for sure.
so you cut out the front stamped steel crossmember? i was looking, you could gain a fair bit of room there to tuck a winch under the grill....you see the room there?
nice, can't wait to see more zj stuff!
