I have seen complete front clips replaced on uni body vehicles. basically from the firewall forward. It was not fun to do but it is perfectly legal. It was a Ford Mustang that had about 50 grand in mods done to it. It was also un-insured at the time of the accident so the customer had to pay out of his pocket. What a ride it was. was it a red 88 GT by any chance ?? the aftermath looks good, now get some paint on that thing lol. I replaced the floor and an entire rocker panel on my jeep , from the beginning of the firewall right back to the rear wheelwell, and it is just as good if not stronger than factory. There are hackjobs, and then there are repair jobs done right, this one falls into the latter. I still say you should cage it, then next time it won`t crush the roof so bad ;D
