Now that I have some free time.. figured I would update the build thread. First run was on the curse ;D A bad steering pump and a huge split between the floor and the firewall (happened early in the run) kept us off most obstacles. But it was a great shake down run as there are no easy parts to the curse... we just wanted to see if it would run for an hour or two The next run would be Big John's with the club. In between we fixed and braced the floor.. no pic.. but Mike did a great job and it is solid now. Pushing the brake and clutch no longer moves the entire firewall ;D Painted grille (removed all chrome hinged/bezels etc) and tow bar on the washout... Only issue on big jones was no lights by the time we were leaving the trail it was pitch black and we didn't have a single light on the rig So we used an old YJ wiring harness that we had kicking around and wired in the headlights and taillights. Currently we have one high beam that works and the tails/brakes work with the towing wires only. Better than nothing Need another relay for the low beams.. and one bulb is burnt out. We have all the parts for the hydro clutch and still need to make a transfer case skid, add rear shocks and raise the front an inch or two... however, that will wait until the spring... not really pressing issues for this rig. Looking forward to the topless run... since we have no doors or top anyway
