The website is now functional at the proper URL- www.novascotiajeepclub.ca/I took the morning off work (sshhhhh) to move it over from the proposal folder and format the Charter page. I still have to move the Photo Album section and membership application over to the proper place on the site but all the links work now. Ran out of time today. That Charter page is a monster. So anyway, it's working so all the things that were waiting for the new site to be up should now start rolling.Let me know if something isn't right beyond what I said above about the photo album....links not working or pics not showing up. Have at 'er.

Nice Work Darren. Having the updated site with all the community development will definitely help with all the current issues we are dealing with.

With the increased traffic the timing for the new homepage couldn't have been better. Thanks Darren!

Impeccable timing. I'm using it as a reference while making contacts.
It gives us a lot of credibility. I like how the community involvement page, you need to scoll to get thru it all.
and i like my flexy CJ5 off to the side heehee

Wow - that is a very well put together and thought-out site! I have a few quick suggestions (I am a web developer that has recently taken on a testing role... These kind of things just pop out at me)(Also - feel free to tell me to go fly a kite : - On my LCD @ work "Welcome to the Nova Scotia Jeep Club" at the top of the page is a bit difficult to read - not impossible, just the colors don't contrast all that well. - In the Navigation on the right hand side of the page, rather than have the link for the page you are currently on disappear perhaps you should bold the font, or change the bullet into a solid bullet rather than the outline. - The link that you have to the PDF Application form, typically when linking to PDFs you have them open in a new window, rather than over top of the page. This has to do with how different browsers go about displaying PDFs. Otherwise it looks great! A perfect example of the KISS Rule and how it leads to a very easy to use and attractive site!

noted Dewie. John said the same thing about the top of the page. I've checked it on various monitors at home and work and it looks as I intended it. The ones I checked it on have various contrast and brightness settings both LCD and CRT... it's supposed to be a subtle title, not jump out but if it looks ugly on some monitor settings then I'll have to change it. The red is the same red throughout the site so it's a major change. Thanks for bringing it up, I'll do some more testing.
you are right about the PDF opening a new page, I'll make it so.
I ~still~ have to fix the photo album navigation which I think is ugly. I took a step back while the MVI crisis was underway.
Also, Peck Auto Glass was added to the front page of Sponsors. Thanks Tracy! I'll add your 1-800 # this evening when I get home.
thanks for the input. I'm really happy to be able to help in this way.
