Night Light Show (Lumen Competition)
There are lots of people with lots o lights. Rob and Scott leap to mind. (for different reasons. LMAO)
The Dodge smokes anything I have on the Jeep, but a Jeep bright light comp would be cool I think.

Lumen: from Wiki The lumen (symbol: lm) is the SI unit of luminous flux, a measure of the perceived power of light. Luminous flux differs from radiant flux, the measure of the total power of light emitted, in that luminous flux is adjusted to reflect the varying sensitivity of the human eye to different wavelengths of light. The lumen is defined in relation to the candela by 1 lm = 1 cd·sr = 1 lx·m2 That is, a light source that uniformly radiates one candela in all directions radiates a total of 4ð lumens. If the source were partially covered by an ideal absorbing hemisphere, that system would radiate half as much luminous flux—only 2ð lumens. The luminous intensity would still be one candela in those directions that are not obscured.

you can get "light measuring devices" that give you a #. not sure of the unit, but it would allow a winner to be shown.
Maybe someone into photography already has one. They can be used for ambient light, or a flash setup.

You know, I had already thought of this when I was installing your Roo Lights. I was going to post something up on the board about it but then thought it might not be a good idea....... I was thinking....Obviously the only time we will be able to do this is after dark and after dark, I will be in no shape to do anything.

I have NEVER been too drunk to push a button. Yes, I suppose your right Len, I was thinking you would bring your rig down to a certain spot, line them up to be tested, yada yada... I just read what Creepy wrote and I guess a simple light meter you would just need to hold it a certain distance from the jeep and flick em on. I wonder where we could get our hands on one of these? I would be VERY interested to see where the PR2 ranks.

It would be up there. I have never driven anything that lights up the road like it.

I should run out and buy a couple of more lights to compete with you guys But how could you decide on the winner? The one with the biggest electrical fire? How about a pinion ring toss for a potential activity? like horseshoes. I've seen them at other offroad events. Maybe Dana 30/35 pinion rings, a Dan60 pinion ring would likely put your back out if you tried to toss one

Pinion ring toss... Excellent suggestion. Especially when intoxicated.
