I've been thinking about going on the Jam for the past two years but I don't know much about it nor do I know many people in the Jeep community. My biggest concern is will my basically stock jeep be up for the task?
It's a 97 TJ 2.5L 5spd. 1" BL, 31 M/t's, aftermarket rear bumper with 'D' tow points, tranny skid plate. My pumkin's are not locked, no suspention lift, D35 rear end. I just don't want to get my self stuck and hang other people up. Are there any threads that give a good run down of what to expect?
thanks guys, hope I can make it next year!

Your Jeep will do 99% of the Jam trails. Get out there with the Club and see what you think. Dont worry about getting stuck. I had to winch my Jeep on 35s up a tree to get all situated from one stuck. You will be fine.

You've got everything you need for Jam, some of the most impressive driving is done in rigs just like yours. Hooking a strap on is no big deal.

On Day Two of the Jam I followed a stock four cyl YJ with open diffs & allseason tires through the Black Rock trail. He had just a little trouble on the odd spot but never neeeded a single tug.
Everytime I share a trail with a stock Jeep I'm genuinely surprised how capable they are.
