K mentioned it being a 3/4 ton. It's actually a 1 ton. I had an Edge, Juice with Attitude installed, 4" exhaust, AFE Stage 1 air cleaner/filter, Tugger shift kit, and transmission temp gauge.
In level 3 on the Edge I was able to hold about 120km/hr. It did drop a bit on hills but not like one would expect towing the trailer loaded. Had it up to 140 for a bit then I took it down when I saw the speedo.

I'll get the specs on the trailer this afternoon (your evening) . They had an option of a side door for exit, but I decided against that and figured I'd strap the doors to the walls if it was an issue. I'm 6'2" and 240lbs and have no problems at all getting out with the doors still on. I really don't even have to fold in the mirrors to get around, but sometimes I do for conveniance. Inner fender of the trailer is just at the right height to step right out with no effort and move around. Thsi trailer is a 20 footer with 19'9" inside. Jeep is about 13"4 with the spare tire so it still gives me a lot of room for future bench and storage. I also had the trailer built about 1 foot taller to accomodate the jeep with lift and a 7' ramp door. Nice setup. I always wondered about the getting in and out part.

What does the trailer weigh empty and loaded? 5000lb axles?

Yes the axles are 5000lbs. Trailer weight is about 3000lbs and the jeep fully loaded is under 5000lbs.

Guy I used to live next to in Calgary had a camperized school bus with the back wall cut and modified to fold down into a ramp that he used to drive his quads up into the back of the bus. Not really suited to a full size rig but I like the idea of towing a trailer with a camperized school bus just for the clearance that they have.
