Everyone has been asking about getting a pressure washer for the Jam. I talked to the camp ground and confirmed some things with them. They do not do the pressure wash thing anymore. They will NOT allow campers to set up their own. You will not be able to wash your Jeep at your site either.
The only option is to have a local guy with a mobile service come in and set up in a designated spot and do the washing. Bruce has been in contact with him and he said he will do it as long as there is enough interest. He has been to several of these events and set up but he did not make enough to cover costs. He charges $10 per wash.
So if you would you would please fill in the poll and if enough people are interested then we will get him in. Otherwise you are on your own to find an off site location to wash you Jeep.
Poll is locked in 4 days so we can discuss this at the next and last committee meeting.
Thanks.
Rob

Its worth $10 to me just not to have the mud in my driveway from washing it at home. And if you go to the car wash it will cost that much anyway.

The committee will discuss when he will be there once we close the poll. That is if there is enough interest.

The pressure wash person will be there on Sunday. There was not enough response, to the poll, for him to be there for other times. At least you will be able to drive home with a lot of the mud off the Jeeps.

Good job by the two young guys on the wash truck. They must have washed 50 lbs of mud off mine, and I didn't even do the mud pit. That was just mud from Tia's Trail. Recommend they start earlier next year, maybe around 8 am, as there are plenty of people up by then. Some people couldn't wait and had to leave before they could get to the wash truck. An extra supply of water would be good too as the truck had to go back into Berwick to fill up. Just a couple of helpful suggestions.

I agree they did a great job, beyond what I expected, so I gave them a tip. Hopefully we had enough to make it worthwhile so they'll come back again. I know they refilled at least 3 times.

I'm sure they will be back, myself and others tipped as well and the cleanings seemed to be more thorough with each vehicle. I had tons of mud from the end of the mud pit so I had to give it a more complete clean when I got back but I am a bit of a clean freak anyway. The old roller was just sitting there being lazy so I put it to work!
