Well, I started to put my warrantied chromoly shaft in this morning but after getting the old axle out and looking things over I found that all my seals and bearings look like they are out of a 74 Scout Went over to Carquest and will have them all here tomorrow morning...so I went back to my buddy's garage and decided that I'll swap Cindy's 8274 off my bumper for my freshly rebuilt 8274. My buddy is selling his tires and he wanted to try my TrXus, so we went back to my place and put the BFG Land Terrains that he was running till he gets something new on my green TJ, then took the TrXus off the ZJ to put on his YJ and took the BGF MT's off the green TJ and put them on the ZJ... Did ya count?..lol...swapped tires on the 3 Jeeps without air tools!! and the lug nutz on the ZJ were mostly seized on after sitting all winter, one lugnut had to have a socket welded to it in order to get it off. Thanks to the time change we managed to get everything done while it was still daylight Jeff

went to the local truck and marine shop and bought some steel, and had it bent up. cut out some holes and random shapes in them. unbolted the one remaining bolt holding the driver's side of the trans skid pan on, and a body mount. put one of my new pieces of steel up and set it up to weld on over tme frame rail to cover up the cracks and holes, and make it solid again. welded it on, burned it in. hopefully tomorrow will get the same thing done for the passenger side.

Scrapped old list. Started new list.... gets longer each passing hour... ...And it will continue to do so tomorrow when Bennett looks at her.... Went to PA and picked up new recovery strap. Old one grew legs... Picked up a set of locking wheel nuts. Easier to deal with one set vice 2... er 3? Cleaned out the Jeep. Lots of room now for new tool box. Bumpers and everything fabbed in desperate need of touching up... that's coming. Ordered tires and new CB. Contemplating swapping out the lift. More investigation and research to be done. Options to be weighed.... That's a start... Pavement Princess soon to be Mudd Princess!! ;D ;D Deb

New tires, tore off the mud flaps, and decided to get rid of the rusty step bars, and once the cash gets back to normal, I will buy the steel for the rock rails

FYI... I think you already got prices for rails... just for comparisons though, I just brought: 2 x 6' of 3/16 2"x4" tube 2 x 6' of 1/8 1"x1" angle 2 x 3' of 1/8" 2"x2" tube
Was about $110 at metals r us. You'll be good with 5' instead of 6' I expect. I've already got some 1/4" plate I'll be using for mounting points...

I wasn't planning on it as the jack and saw would only be on for trail rides... but I guess it couldn't hurt. Never know when you're gonna duck into a garage or something. It'd suck to have a $500 saw stolen.

Put a new front bumper on, new winch.
This weekend is a new hard line for the rear brakes from the front to the back. I broke it taking my axle out last time and just double flaired it..but it was only 24 bucks for a new line from the dealer..
Also taking the rear end out and putting new gears in
