nothin fancy like Jans and rear mount will not work on my truck I got a deal on this Guess i have to mount it somewhere , thought for a while .... looked at it .... thought for a while hahah 93xj and backwoodsxj dropped in .... thought for a while then stuck some pieces together . I can take it off if i decide to mount elsewhere and it's nothing fancy . before some stainless rod bent to 3" flat bar with holes for the rod , don't mind the thumbnail ,it's a carpenter thing heheh some 1/2x1/2 bar for strength welding then a mounting point test fit a spacer and some shock rubber's I have another knob like this i will use instead of the wing nut on the other side . not my best work but it will do for now and my new sticker .... thanks Darren

box welded on one end, bolt on the other. Wire welded to a nut to tighten it down.

Looks good Allen, (yours to Hawkes), I put a lock on mine, they have been known to walk away unattended, lol. Brad.

Awesome gents. That knob is awesome. What did it come on in the first place? hahah it's the knob from a late 80's early 90's dodge minivan to hold the jack under the hood . I had thought about putting a box around one end but the bar in front is aluminum ,on the back the tail gate was too wide to mount to the bumper standing up , not really an option to do one like Jan did for Len ,i drag the back quite a bit .

OOOooo! That smarts! (edit for Len - its the Picard handpalm ashamed icon)
I like Paul's wire welded to the nut, neat.
Alan - get that thing on there straight man, it looks brutal. make your passenger side clamp different, put the threaded rod above the clamp, and it will be straight. After seeing that beautiful home your reno'd.......no slack! You can doo eet! Or make a new threaded u-bolt that's long on the top, (like 3rd pic) and put the jack on that. Then you won't have to make a new flatbar.
