That cast cover is nice. Did the Ballistic one come welded like that? I'm gonna assume yes, because the bolt holes are spotfaced. Not very nice looking welding for a bought item. Patiently waiting for cut up unibody pics. Yeah Un-Fortunately Ballistic is probably the worst company I have ever dealt with I ordered it May 6th and got it 2-months later after all that they didn't send my 2.63 joint wrench either I ordered a big decal and they sent me the wrong Decal too. There answer as too why it took so long, and why I got the wrong parts is..... I don't know. I think Stevie Wonder is there Welder

Very cool build. Keep the pics going. I think this one is safe to upgrade to the fab section now.

This thread fits the forum its in just fine at this point, read the headers on the main page. Cut off your fenders and custom build some components. The welder hasn't even been broken out yet. SOUNDS like a wicked project Fab section requires proof!

Yeah been slackin a bit unfortuantly. THis is a part time thing as most. lol. I've been tinkering witht he little stuff(building the frame stiffeners etc) while trying to decide on a double triangualted or single triangulated rear and have decided on the double. so going to have to lengthen the arms. 8o)

It's my understanding that double flexes better, but isn't as stable at speed.... so a road driven vehicle is better off being single.
I could be wrong.

Not necessarilly. it's all based on design. horizontal separation of the uppers can help with stability at speed, but too much seperation you loose strength in axle location and will need a trackbar. Its defiantly a fine line.. The reason a double triangulated flexes better is cause there is virtually no binding during suspension travel. Swaybars are a definate necessity in keeping stability at speed and balancing the suspension and help body roll, especially in something so top heavy..
Single Triangulated geometry is easier to setup Hence why most kits are designed this way. Easier to mass produce and less "design configuration" needed = consistant output. It's all about compromise in the long run.
