Looks like I bent up my oil pan pretty good, not leaking, but definitely needs a new one!
Steering box came very loose, couldn't turn right on the trail, was an easy fix with a wrench (thanks Jan!).
Will check for more when I get it home next weekend.

Can we include the tire falling off my LJ while Beth was driving it to town this morning so BA could drive it home after school? Barrington Street offramp from the bridge, on the radio and CBC twitter feed. tied up traffic and the twitter actually said 'jeep with no tire' peak monday morning traffic. Nobody needs that to happen to them.....but for it to happen to Beth after the emotional weekend.....its a bit much. I hope nothing else happens to you this week. As for the wheeling, my Swampers bent the front fenders a bit, that's it. Pretty good one for me. Oh, and had to weld an exaust hanger back on. no biggie.

I looked after Beth, got the tire back on so the flat deck didn't have to drag it up. You can see the scrape in the pavement where it happened. Luckily the tire didn't hit any other traffic or people. It did roll about 300 feet down the road. No one was physically hurt, and Beth has a story for life. CAA is awesome for situations like this!

bah, its home now, CAA'd and no accident or injury. I just hope everyone got to work on time and it didn't send Beth over the edge. couple of minged up studs, I've got lots of spares and on vacation till friday. Can only blame myself. it was the tire beside the sewer line and was the first thing I did after getting up sun morn. sip of tea, hung over, kneel down and impact gun/headache/retch/gag/sewerstink the tire on. I didn't double check it. :X

8274 crapped out on day two thanks again to Andre for coming up the hill (in the rain and mud) to confirm that loud grinding noise was clear indication my winch was fu-barred.

I was half hysterical after it happened... watching the tire careening down Barrington Street by itself was somthing else. When I realized that it didn't go over the guard rail or hit anyone in oncoming traffic I was super grateful. A nice man drove me down to find the tire and stopped traffic while I fetched it, but suggested I leave it where it was off the road safely and go back to wait with the Jeep.
Sixer showed up (I'd called him first) then a couple members of HRP showed up to direct traffic around me. I'm just glad I was going in early today so there was less traffic on the road when it happened.
I did get a text from a coworker who was on a bus that had been held up in traffic and when she saw me on the side of the road sitting on the guardrail: "what are you doing holding up traffic?". I replied that I was stalling coming into work today.
I'm so glad the Jeep is okay, I hauled off as quickly as I could so I didn't damage anything any further than it already was/could have been. Glad the Jeep is home now, even if it isn't quite the way we intended!
My heart had an even bigger jolt than anticipated this Monday morning... who needs caffiene when you have adreneline pumping in your veins?

Looks like I made it through with a couple of bent fenders, a broken winch, and bent 4wd linkage. The last working champion winch has fallen, lol. Oh well, no one really trusted it anyways, I doubt I'll try to fix it again, just replace it.
