This weekend was a pretty dirty one. Up for replacement was every bushing in the rear end, plus a body lift, plus quick disconnects, plus rear track bar. The old bushing were a disaster. Every single one. After new bushings, and 1.25" body lift! the rear has got to come down some. I am hoping that I can adjust the space between the fenders with the new fenders that are coming without having to put spacers in the front. *Tip on the body lift. It says to remove the fan, I didn't. I just spun the shroud around until i got to the spot i needed and cut. zip ties made quick work of securing the shroud in its new home. Man, I love zip ties. New disconnects, I know its nothing to be excited about but I HATE driving on the street witout them and with my last set I had no other option. they're for a 2.5" lift but i think they'll work out. the angle is a little steep but no interference. All in all the juice was worth the juice was worth the squeeze. The Jeep rides so tight and smooth now, I don't even remember it being like that when it was stock. Alignment this week and she'll be a thing of beauty!! Thanks Peck's for helping me out with warranty on some bad bushings! I don't stickerfy my Jeep but I am more than happy to display it in the garage

Looks good, must be a lot tighter.
Have you considered extended bumpstops to keep the tires out of the body? Cheap and fairly easy. Would have been ideal to do it when the coils were out......oh well!

it's surprisingly easy to pop the coils out now, as it droops like a mother f*cker. I will bump stop once i figure out how much extra space the new fenders are going to allow. With the body lift and low height the possibilities are endless Belly ups, gas tank lifts, oh my! .. actually i think that about covers it. Once I get everything dialed in suspension wise, I'll start messing around with tucking things up further. I do however enjoy the tad bit lower shifter, sportier

Are you sticking with the bigger tires on downsizing them as well?

Staying with the 35's Mar.
I had it out for a drive tonight after putting in a New wheel bearing and to drop it off for my alignment tomorrow with Bubba, man did it drive nice. Tight, no clunks, steering sucked but you can really tell how bad my toe is out with 235 tires. Looking very forward to seeing how she drives after the wheels aren't trying to run away from each other.

I got carried away with a can of Rust Check this weekend. I started my pre winter maintenance by just doing miscellaneous things like inside the doors, inside wind shield frame etc. Then i started wiping down the rock sliders with it and i got a little on the door. No biggy, I wiped it off with a terry cloth towel and couldn't believe the shine it left behind. Next thing I know Apesteguy is pulling in and im just finishing up the hood! Even though the can says safe for all painted surfaces I am a little leery of the long term affects. Either way it hid the pin striping very well, and surprisingly didn't get all weird looking when it rained. Certainly not a permanent solution like a good waxing, but good for some immediate satisfaction

Petroleum based jelly eh? I already use it on my zippers, maybe next time I'll give that a try. Bet it makes it real easy to rub on.

A tiny update, traded my KM2's for a set of All-Terrains then I picked up these from Alan.. 34x10.50 Super Swamp LTB's And these from Aaron.. 15x7 steele rims. Dont mind the measuring tape that's for Creepy for a future endeavour A little scuff and some paint and they'll be good as new Finally got word that my fenders are on their way from Metal Cloak!! I am getting pretty anxious for my Ultimate wheeler/Daily driver to be complete!

Neato. I was wondering who bought those tires... so those will be the "summer shoes"?
My rims are in the same condition. My plan was to scuff them up, remove most of the rust and coat them with that spray on Plasti-Dip stuff.
