Put the soft top on our LJ yesterday whoo! Been wanting that on since we got it.The bloody hard top is heavy too picking that off the wife and I.Anyhoo first soft top I've ever owned and wonder if they wash off like anything else or need a special brush or cleaner?Or when its gets dirty that will be it?This looks like it may have only been on once or twice ,its clean clean clean! Oh I live a km in on dirt road too so it will get dirty! Whats everyone using if anythng?

I have just pressure washed mine... Seems to come clean, mines black and has already faded lol. You can get a stick of wax for zippers to rub on so it will help keep the zippers lubricated, fabricville and like places would have it.
Other then that I haven't had issues washing mine.

and Meguiars PlastX for the windows. It's awesome stuff for removing small scratches from softtop windows. It even does a great job of clearing up yellowing plastic headlight lenses in other cars. Good stuff to have around.

Think there should be a switch over weekend...... help each other out lifting the hardtops off..... Not a one man job but can be done with time.

buy a big bottle of simple green, buy an empty spray bottle, cut the simple green with some water. I usually do 60/40 simple green the latter. Spray it on top, wait 30secs (don't let it dry in the sun) then you can pretty much hose it off with a garden hose and it comes out looking like new.
It works awesome for the dried in mud, no scrubbing necessary!

That's a cool idea. I have no clue you could do that.

When I grew up, FTW meant F#ck The World! LOL A nylon bristled scrub brush on the soft top when washing takes little effort. My soft top has been on for 5 years and still looks great! Jeff
