You'll know, with all certainty, when you have an actual deathwobble expereince. They don't put the 'death' in there without reason.
In the meantime, check your lugnuts.

My old red cherokee had a butter zone at about 80kph that if you hit a pot hole, all hell would break loose. Shimmy shimmy shimmy, slam, slam , slam side to side. Frightening. Moreso to a passenger who has no idea what just happened, lol.

I remember my first death wobble, felt like the front end of the Jeep was jumping up and down about 2 feet high. Like one of those low riders, only at 80km/h. Very unmistakable.

Although I did get a nice shake yesterday on my drive home after hitting a pothole. Had to slow right down to get it to stop but I figured it was because I was still disconnected from the weekend.

On the jk, chrysler used the wrong bolt for the hole on the upper end of the front track bar.
The factory bolt is a 14mm, with threads and will chunk up the bushing and wallow out the hole in the mount.
I replaced mine with a grade 8 9/16th bolt.
That seems to be the biggest cause if death wobble.
If the hole was the correct size, the standard bolt shouldn't fit.

Would trans bolt world in Dartmouth carry those? Sent from my SGH-I747M using proboards
