Believe it or not I'm still waiting for my drive shaft to be delivered . Talked to the local guy on Friday and he said the shop in Moncton is still waiting for the slip/spline . In the meantime I'm still fabbin . Fixing things I had on my list . Starting with the front bumper , I didn't like the stubby look and it didn't protect the lower front or the headlights so I cut some 3" tube and made two of these welded on and painted

Then back to the backend . The Jimmy I got the last 4.3 out of had a tire carrier on the back so I took it off . It was way too wide for the Samurai so cut it down and used what I needed . Cut some 2" sq tube to start some cheap bearings and 3/4" bolts from PA starting to look like a spare tire carrier 1 more support tube cut off the Jimmy tire mount some 1/4" plate cut out , holes drilled , studs pressed in and welded on welded the bolt to a piece of plate and on to the bumper bearings pressed in piece of tube to go over the bolt and in the bearings cut down the Suzuki tire carrier and welded the catch from the Jimmy along with some custom parts to come up with this this is all from the Jimmy , bumper/stops , a latch just like a door and a release handle all finished

Well , this old Samurai is pretty much back together . As with most builds , there will always be something else to do . I was on my way to town about a month ago to get it MVIed and when I pulled out of the drive it wouldn't rev up . Almost didn't make it back to the barn . I couldn't figure it out , was using a used TBI system and had replaced all the sensors but the damn thing wouldn't fire through the injectors . So , my thinking is I don't want to be 15 km back in the bush and have this happen so I bit the bullet and bought a new system . I went with Fitech and couldn't be happier. and the last piece of the puzzle
