Take a look at this thread: nsjc.proboards.com/thread/44665/liberty-buildTow points front and rear - if you don't have them already. Skid plates - if you don't have them already. Figure out what you want to be able to do with it then see what you need to do to be able to do that (were there enough do's in that sentence?) Good tires and skill can get you a long ways, and good spotters.

Pretty basic starting point is 2.5" lift and 31's, what model liberty is it? The higher models (renegade and limited) should have skids, otherwise that is a required item for the liberty. Tow hooks front are an easy install and ensure you have a hitch (there is a recall on them) or tow hook rear. I used to run an 03 renegade and with those mods you will have fun on most of the trails. Also invest in rock sliders or weld in channel steel to replace the rocker panel.

You need to host your pictures on another site and link them here. For just a couple pics imageshack.us is great, register with them and they even give you the code to post in your message.

Hey Psychotic G, I'm in Weymouth, not that far away. I had an 05 Liberty Sport for 3 years before I went to the Grand. Like Democedes and Enos have said, check for skid plates and tow hooks, or if you know which model it is, you can find out on-line what it came with from the factory. Peck's (245-5858) in Digby put a 2" lift on my Grand for a few hundred. Then I upsized the tires and have wheeled my Grand on several trails this past year. There are some wheelers on here from the SouthWest end of the province, and if you'd like to try a little wheeling, this Saturday in Bear River is a special trail run. Check out the Trail Run section or the Valley Chapter section for more info. There's a daytime run and a night run with a BBQ and camping if you choose.
