Thank you for the input. We don't need an introduction to rock crawling, we've crawled before. Either trail sounds good, but I am a sucker for great views! Do BOTH ! One each day!

You will have a blast on any of the trails you choose! I will be one of the guides on Johnson's Settlement .

Phinney/Chute are great trails, we've been running them since the club started. You go over North Mountain to the Fundy Shore on Phinney, lunch at the beach, and back to the Valley on Chute (awesome view). I've lost count how many times I've run them, and still enjoy it every time. Johnson Settlement does have a section or rock, but it's a great introduction to rock crawling that even a stock YJ can manage, but will still offer a challenge. I love phinney and chute. Ran them on the Canada day run last year.

We have a family commitment the same weekend. Also Rob is now leaving on the 19th for 6 weeks so won"t even be here.

Johnson's Settlement is ready for Jam. Jason, James and I did our pre-run yesterday after the rain. This will be a two trail run, both are very stock doable with some technical sections. Experienced wheelers will enjoy these trails and the newer Jeeper will have their adrenaline pumping in a few places, but once you finish the day, your confidence level (in your Jeep and you) will be much higher. Even though we cleared these trails 2 weeks ago, we were amazed at how much growth has taken place. For those that go on these trails, be prepared for the possibility of a pinstripe or two, and you will definitely have some scrapes and bumps underneath in the rock garden. Bring insect repellent, I didn't see any ticks but the mosquitoes were in full force. Also, make sure that your floor drain plugs are in
