Nice, I didn't know you could get it in gallon cans. With the 4 gallon kit, you could do your whole rig for around $300.

Yep, and from the research I've done it appears you can do touch-ups if needed by just spraying a few new layers over the scratched plastidip and the new layers melt together with the existing ones.

Bump over to Maine from N.B., should be able to pick it up there quite easily.

A few coats of wax will protect from all but the deep scratches.

Mine are flat black. The Trail Skinz are magnetic so you just slap them on when your heading for the trails and peel them off when your done.

If they're like the soft fridge magnet material it pretty much settles the question of what I'll be getting.

That's exactly how to think of them, giant fridge magnets. That's actually where I keep mine when I'm not using them, on the beer fridge. You have your choice of many colors and graphic patterns or you can even have a logo added(like a company logo or sports team etc.)

I really like the idea of the magnets. I'm guessing it is flat black vinyl on top of the magnet. How is that holding up? It isn't really too much of a deal with the black but with a design it might be.

I believe the base trailskinz are just sheet magnet with no vinyl on them.
