here's a few pics of the newest project in the shop.i was looking to have a trailer that would work good, be multi-functional and yes look cool behind the jeep.went with a military vibe.started with 2x2x3/16 square tubing. made the frame 4'x6'. i already had a piece of 3/16 steel 4'x6' that i used for the floor. picked up a sheet of 1/8 steel 5'x10' to cut up for the remainder of the box, went with the odd size of steel due so i would have very little waste or left over material heres the first pic's i took, box is sitting on the frame with a 2000lb princess auto axle fitted up under it for the time being

added 3 d-rings down each side and 2 at the front.fenders are from princess auto.framed the bottom of the box with 1x2x1/8 rectangle stock.also added 1x1x1/8 square stock around the top of the box.rattle canned the box flat green.

Looks great , I wish I had built mine as a dump . what are the dimensions of the box ? , I mocked mine up at 2 ft deep , and changed it to 18in because I couldnt reach the bottom

I love the trailer, but I gotta say that conduit is sexy, f*ck that wire loom garbage.

Nice build. I was looking at it and thinking that it might need to be a bit higher for some materials. I drove dump truck. I did a search and found some info that should help you. www.engineeringtoolbox.com/dumping-angles-d_1531.htmlIt depends on how much of the load you want to have fall on its own. They can be helped along with a shovel if needed. James
