So I pulled both (stock and ZJ) coil spring isolators out, and put the BB back in. It's now sitting level, which is what I wanted in the first place. I also made a set of BPE's, and put the JK shocks in. I couldn't justify spending the money on JKS ones, and I think these will work fine. BPE by Derek MacMillan, on Flickr I got a chance to flex it out some today, and I'm pretty happy with how it's working. The ride is awesome with the JK shocks on it too!! I'm looking at getting a set of 33x12.5-15's, but I know they won't fit on the stock rims I have. What would I need for back spacing, 4.00"?

I've had to change a couple of u-joints, replaced the transmission mount, I decided to paint the rims silver. I really like how they look silver! Dropping the skid to get the old mount out. The round bar was bent, and the rubber wasn't attached to the metal anymore. Getting the rims painted. One done. I think this looks much better.

So as much as I loved my lights for night runs, I found a good deal on a winch and had to get it. I bought a Superwinch LP8500 that had been sitting in someone's house unused for the last four years.

Haven't done too much else to the Jeep. I did do some minor cutting on the front bumper, added a hand throttle, installed a rear track bar bracket and swapped out the stock rear coils and spacers for a set of Crown Vic springs. Everything I read said the Crown Vic springs should give 3-3.5" of lift, but they only gave me 2", so I'm sitting at the same height as the stock springs and spacers. Free height the CV springs were close to 4" taller. Oh well. It does seem less jarring over bumps now though. Bumper before: Tapped for cutting: After: Bike gear selector for a hand throttle: Adjusting nut from a bike brake: Rear track bar bracket:

Oh yeah, I also ordered front and rear tube fenders from Black Widow Gear, and they should be shipped this week.
