It's hard to say about the tool marks and holds on the pass side as it appeared there was some bondo along that side. As for the tail gate not folding down you sure? And it's not the original tail gate, the old fella told me he made it as the old one was pretty beat. He used to work on the gagetown army base and he was the second owner of it, purchased in 85. As for the missing tails lights and blackout light, it's all in the garage along with the original soft top (one small hole in it) and doors. I haven't inspected it throughly as I bought it and am going to go get it when the ground gets a bit harder. More pics and info will follow! Oh and it's a Ramsey winch model 50 I believe.

Well Dan, the other day i went for a drive the other day and happened to find one in a farmers backyard. Stopped in the next day and now i own a 52 CDN m38. Its got a PTO winch on the front of it from factory, not sure how common that is. I kinda wanted a flattie to build and wheel a little bit but are these rare enough to not hack up? Ever tried getting parts? 3a Parts interchangeable to an extent? Thanks buddy!

I was thinking about the Yukon zip locker, for an extra 50 bucks they will warranty it for life to my understanding. Jimmy Keating has one in the front of his cj5 and hasnt had any issues with it. And i have the on board air system already in the jk so all i would have to do is plumb it for the locker.

Are there any cons to running an air locker in the rear end? Ive heard some people say since it constantly spins it wears the o ring out quickly, however if you didnt have lock out hubs would it not do the same in the front end as well? Any how any cons? thanks

I would like to thank the Jam committee for putting on a wonderful event on again this year and all the friendly jeepers who attended this year, always a pleasure. Good job to the trail guides and congrats to Dan for the trail guide of the year award. Would also like to thank Lance for the spare scout axles he had kicking around and to Stevens and Ray for bringing me a slide hammer. Had a great time this year and will be seeing you all again next year!

On the way down we had 2 stuck calipers we changed we changed in the parking lot of the parts store, I blew a rear wheel bearing which took the axle about 45 minutes from home switched it with an axle with a brand new bearing but couldn't change the race then the new bearing started getting real hot so I grabbed Jimmy's and put mine on the trailer. Somewhere around little village I blew a front wheel bearing in the cj5 then got caught in a bad rain/hail storm changing it on the side of the highway. Only took 11.5 or 12 hours to make it to jam this year lol also jimmy broke a shock and snapped a u bolt, julien smashed his rocker in and Paulo snapped the shaft off his shimmy shock. I think that's about it!

Oh shit really? Well it's unplugged now but I though I read somewhere that the year span was 98-01 or was it after 98 they went to a coil pack? So I need one from what 97 to 99 or something like that?

Well today I got a hold of a computer out of an 01 Cherokee (not sure the differance between the two years) but neither had a security system. I now have fuel pressure, fire and the volt and fuel gauges are now working. If I give It gas while cranking it starts but runs real rough then spudders but at least the check engine light is on so I should be able to get a code off it tomorrow. At least it's a step in the right direction.
