Ok...good idea. Thanks! *I called and spoke with a 'warranty advisor' basically said that yes aftermarket parts would affect my warranty by only if the parts are the cause of the problem...Rob thought maybe we should install the lift kit ourselves but I think maybe not lol! wow, you actually got good advice. While this is true, it does allow for a good degree of interpretation. A lift in itself might only invalidate warranty items like, driveline joints... since they're now in a different position from stock. BUT, because of the bigger lift you'll probably end up with bigger tires... which will put a bigger stress on things like tie rod joints, ball joints, wheel and axle bearings, brake components, transmission/transfercase...etc. All of these things could "potentially" be denied for warranty work as being caused by the lift. The best advice has always been to have a good relationship with your service department, don't take advantage of the warranty for items that have clearly been prematurely worn due to abuse/lift/wheeling... and don't take a muddy jeep in for service. All that being said... a 3" lift is pretty minor. Use common sense, and the warranty denied issue is, for the most part, a non issue. Bill I have talked with one of the service guys at Dartmouth dodge. I asked if lifts void warranties and he told me no. Other than the parts you replace, springs and such. Did say that larger tires could cause warrantie issues. He suggested keeping my stock tires if I ever upsize and put them on anytime I bring it in for service. Sent from my SGH-I747M using proboards

Since the topless run was cancelled I worked on jeep the past two days. I hooked all my breather hoses into my snorkel and air box so that no water can get in to my diffs or tranny and transmission. Also sealed all electronics up so moisture and water can screw them up. I thought difs were sealed. They're not? Sent from my SGH-I747M using proboards
