I'm not sure exactly how long it is, but from what I've heard, it could be quite nasty in spots. It's a baseline road that dead ends at a medow/swamp, but I have permission to go across one of the properties it goes along the back of (near the end I think). From there out to the main road is about a mile, and should be a good trail in itself.
I want to check out the baseline road first, and if it's good, then see if we can make a trail through the property to get to it. He's doing some thinning in there now, but hasn't gotten all the way to the back yet. He's working on making a path across a swamp, 1 load of wood and 2 loads of brush, not sure if it's passable for his tractor & log trailer yet or not!
I'm in no rush, just wanted to do it before snow/freeze. Next weekend or maybe a day through the week.

If I get a chance, I'll go take a look at it and try to stay out of trouble.

That sucks! I'm stuck here teaching at the school with a bunch of people that including me don't want to be here!!! Let us know how it went. If you get in trouble call me on the cell and I'll leave on a "Family Emergency". I all can say is thank God for laptops and wireless modems Passes the afternoon and evening!
