I also marked it off. Where is the post about what we were planning? I believe it was time to chain the bridge, open some trails and do some exploring! BR is always a fun run. I may need to find a seat! I'm waiting on some bearings for the front end of the YJ. My spare set turned out to be in the wrong pkgs. Glad i found out now and not on High Voltage!

Definatley still a go for this Sunday, the 23rd. I'm heading down on Friday/Saturday to get the final things done to the XJ for MVI (I hope, seeing, as of this morning, it includes replacing the windshield ). There is a large tree down on White Knuckle Hill that needs to be cleared. As far as I know, the bridge is fine, just further downstream that it used to be. Aside from that, I don't think there is anything else large down that needs to be cleared (unless it fell after the winter run). Alan had a new area that he wanted to explore this spring. There is also a section (deep mud if I remember correctly) if you continue straight after the first section of my uncle's farm, and there are some trees down there. I'll be at the farm all weekend, so whenever you want to show up is fine with me.

Sorry Alan I think I asked this before, but is the restaurant open? Also do you have a saw handy or should I bring one? I'll bring a couple sets of prunners etc.

Just a quick note to say we will be coming down for this. I might have a little better luck with the trails now that the diffs will be dragging in the mud rather than the rock solid frozen ground. See everyone there.

I'm thinking a nice Brunch sounds good to me! I'm sure someone else must want to get up early and head down to BR.

A major big thanks to Alan, Enos and Blake for their great hospitality and top notch trail guiding...What a great day! Those are awesome trails guys, I was really impressed with Dave's new WJ, good driving Dave, you did awesome getting that long wheelbase through without any hang ups on all the stumps or rocks...I kept telling Kirby "oh boy, that Grand is gonna have a hard time getting through there" only to turn around and find that you walked right through it...
Tony, Kim, John and Kirby thanks for joining me on the convoy...the convoy when with you guys is always a good time and good conversation... Thanks again everyone!! I'll try to get some pics up today...

Awesome, awesome day. Huge thanks to the Bear River gang for everything. We'll defineately be back any chance we get. It was nice to be on the good end of the tow strap for once too That's right, I didn't get stuck. First time for everything I guess. The WJ did, in fact, do great but did need a little help a few times. And Dave, in retrospect, I think that occasional smoke we were seeing was probably that fresh undercoating burning off the exhaust. Thanks also to Kirby for hanging back with us and helping out with the flat tire, and to Alan for the services of his (rather busy) tire changer when we got back to the farm so we didn't have to make the trip home on the spare. We shot over 70 pics and I'll also try to get them up today. Thanks again to everyone who came out and see everyone again soon.

Great weekend of clearing and wheeling. Many hands make light work, and those trees were anything but light work. Jeff gave us all a great show in a new section of last year's "New Mud". Thanks to everyone for coming down.
The new locker worked great, but as John pointed out, I should know by now not to do something when someone says "Go for it". ;D
