Hey yo's!
Just wondering if anyone is interested in convoying up to Ellershouse with me on Sunday for the club run?? I don't think there's any need to drive all the way in for the meeting but I do want to attend the run...
We would leave about 9:30 to make it there for 10:15ish... the weather is saying rain with a high of +10c...should be fun!

Ok, so... I heard the trail is "stocker friendly", just how friendly is it? You know we'd love to go, but we're a little short on trailworthy Jeeps. Would we be safe in a stock (or slightly less than) height XJ? Is it rocky at all? I think I might be able to talk Kim into swapping the tow hook bracket off the country and onto her rig tonight. Might be an idea to swap the tires too, I guess, given the forecast. The Limited still only has the stupid plastic gas tank cover, do you think we'd be jeopardizing the tank on this trail? Remember it's got a bit of a saggy butt. I guess we'll see what happens tonight, but I can't see the truck being ready for tommorrow.

Same here. How are the trails? My jeep as of now lacks any real good protection.

32" tires are great for Ellershouse and the factory skids will cover you.The ravine is the only real rocky section and it's optional at the end of the trail. There is a couple spots where tow points could save the day.
