True i have done snow that deep also, BUT these trails r groomed snowmobile trails that we CAN'T go on until April or May when the season is over, Jeep or no Jeep, sry. Until the snow comes and after the snow goes, the trails r ours to do what we wish on, but come winter, we no go on these trails.

a small creek, depending on the weather snow, distance, some mud, some rocks, wind fall, getting lost. a stocker can run it. the last time was a over a year ago. but i think i can find you something a little harder of this is not what you want(the gorge) if you dont like your paint ;D

gonejeepn: I love to read about people respecting the rights of others offroaders. It shows people we do care what goes on. We also never run on groomed trails and try to avoid others for at least 2-3 months. We figure we have the run of the trails for 9 months and snowmoblers are lucky if they get 2-3 months.
I got jumped on by a women at the DOT office saying we had chewed up a groomed trail. It was nice to look at her and say, "If the rigs had a NS J Club decal our members will repair the trail!" I know our members don't violate our own rules. She later called me to explain she had been wrong. It wasn't our members. Since that time I have unlimited use of thier mapping program and she has been a great help getting us permission to run in other area's.
The feeling I have been getting latly is they appreaciate us clearing the dead falls and trimming back the J-Class roads. Thier group are heavy into snowmobiles. There seems to be bad blood between the snow runners and the quads. I'm only able to comment on our local area. We have been blamed for doing damage that only a narrow rig could have done. I showed her my Jeep and say, If I chew it up you'll be able to tell the difference.
I'm glad I can explain to people that other area's and groups of 4 wheelers feel the same as us. Get along and respect each other and it makes things run smooth.
Take care and I hope to someday get up your way and run some trails. It sounds like a very scenic area.

kevin thanks for the little word there, i use to ride sleds and yes the 4 wheelers did do damage, but they were few and far between, most of them ride sleds also. some day i would also like to get down your way and try some of your trails, but the drive is long, and on a good day i'm not sure if she will get me home from work ;D, the last time i did a run down halifax way she came home on the back of a tow truck with no engine . (GOD BLESS CAA)
