As taken from JEEPY's last comments -Quote " and all other motorized vehicles operating off-highway."(page 3) ." End Quote
Some background -where I'm coming from. I spent two years with the "Annapolis County Trails Society" and had close ties with the Task force. Their mandate was to hold public input meetings, gather information related to. and compile recommendations concerning "OFF ROAD VEHICLES" not Vehicles that are driven off road (Jeeps, Broncos, Pathfinders, etc: Their recommendations may be worded, slanted, or seem to be directed towards us, but they are not aimed at us. Therefore their recommendations whenever passed, to the Provincial Government , will result in an expansion of the Off-Highway Act. Registered Jeeps ETC can not be charged under that act.
The task force should have Protected Lands worded so no motorized vehicles, which would include electric and gas , would not be allowed to travel on, over. under, or disturb the natural setting. That is what we (the Trails Society) were told . To include Jeeps, Pathfinders etc or what we call our daily drivers, an additional group, task force or sub committee would be required to recommend changes to the Motor Vehile Act to include regulated , registered, and insured vehicles.
Do not stay QUIET. If you have, own, or support those that do own Off Road Vehicles.
