Ok, in the incident that ripped my front output off my 231, seems my DS smacked the trans pan on my AW4. Took a hour other day to fab up some sort of protection for the pan so when i land on a rock or DS takes a hike again, it wont get so damaged that it leaks! Need an opinion on how to attach to pan itself A- stitch/spot weld around upper perimeter B- Use urethane or seam sealer used for body work or windshield fastening (i used this method to hold on my oil pan skid and it hasnt let go yet!) C- Fab small tab to use few existing pan bolts to attach to trans around perimeter. STOCK PAN THAT NEEDS A SKID! NEW FULLY WELDED SKID This slides over the pan, how should i attach this? Justin EDIT- Forgot to add this pic last night of pcs mated together. Any input?
