Zuk Looks good, the Tube buggy trend is coming on strong. Light wheeling is good to, but one thing I have always liked about the jeeps (especially XJ's) is the weight distrabution. I can see a difference in the way a TJ wheels with the hard top On Vs hard top off. If I were to cut off the roof I would have to move the Batery to the rear and extra tools and stuff to maintain that balance.
Zuks dont actually weigh anything anyway, so hacking the body off behind the front seats will not change things too much. Looks like quality work in the pictures and a safe/fun ride to boot. I look forward to seeing it in action!

Mike - looks great.
I am thinking I will be home the November long weekend. Would love to see this thing in person if that is doable.
Thanks,
MC

sounds good to me mike, i'd love to take it up the chaple road power line to test it out on some serious rocks before i put it in the shop for the winter...... we'll see when time gets closer as to who will be home.... hopfully jan can come and show us how to break a d30 axle ;D i demenstrated how to explode a toyota one, now your turn buddy ;D and ol'blue, when i get around to tubing out the front clip over the winter i'll be putting the batter in the rear somewhere.... prob just behind the seats in the center. the whole rear behind the gas tank is going ot be full of tool, spare 3rd member, spare axles, all fluids, ect. and for long runs i'll have a full sized spare on the back of the cage and my highlift there too.... there will be a bit for weight put back in it.

the 11th, right? if so, no i am not. working straight thru that weekend. that would kill all my xmas vac. time. actually, after looking at my work , i can't go until nov. 18, or 25 weekend. that's a bit too far out for me to make plans. i'll just say i'm interested for now...

Was talking to Matt Cook...he and his Dad both picked up shiny new Rubi's and want to try the St. Ann's-Baddeck. I have never been, but am willing. He also mentioned getting Rowland out.
