But aren't you selling your's Johnnie so you can run a zj Yeah but I"m having no luck . My wife's new Grand is going to be here by this week so I'm to the point that if the ZJ or XJ goes, I don't care. The insurance for three is way too high for me. .

Please explain the hinge and latch mechanisms. Also, what do you plan on doing about a tag light and CHMSL? Steve

the lock is a hole drilled in top of bumper with a tapped block of steel welded on top of it . Then I welded a piece of rolled stock on top of a bolt for a handle like a tee used to lock it down same for the Hi Lift. The hinge is cold rolled steel sleeved with tube and a cap to hold it down Craig Bennetts design Im going to get a crappy tire trailer lite for the plate.

like it man, like it lots, what kind of cap did you use for the hinge?
probably only thing I would do differently would be the latch tho yours would be the most secure and less prone to failure, I use my hatch a lot and I am very impatient.
