I am thinking that since we are getting into the nice weather that a change in venue for coffee night is in order. Why a new location? Because we can't park together and hang by our Jeeps in Bedford (too much other traffic/shoppers). I suggest the Tim Horton's on Cobequid road, just down the street from APJ's. It has a nice large dirt parking area off to the side where we can parks out rigs together. That way we don't fill up their parking lot and hinder their other customers. Then we can run in and grab our coffee/donuts, then go out and hang by the Jeeps (as that is why we are there-always checking out others rigs . If the weather does turn cold/rainy we can always go inside. I suggest we start this new location the first Tuesday Coffee night in April! What do y'all think?

I like the outdoor thing Goatse but how about the "central location" thing we had with Bedford? Alittle extra drive for us HRM peeps.

McDonalds Windmill Road or Tims Akerley I was thinking around the same area. Maybe even Tims/Wendy's/Dairy Queen off of Burnside. I think they're on Illsey. Large parking lot there with no one ever around.

The Tim's on Cobequid is only 3 minutes from the Bedford one! As for the McDonald's location. I used to be McDonald's Management and they do not really car for people "hanging about" in their parking lots and taking up space for long periods of time. However that is a smaller store and the business is slow in the evenings. If we like Burnside McD'd I could have a talk with the store manager as I know him pretty good. The problem is finding a spot that is large enough to hold a decent sized group of Jeeps and a business that doesn't mind us being there. I guarentee that if our group takes up half the parking lot, we will be asked to leave.

The Tim's on Akerley has a dirt parking lot behind the paved one with lots of room and probably isn't used much by local truckers in the evening. But I'm ok with Sackville/Bedford as well. Then there is the Tim's on the #7, also lots of room.

I say keep it where it is now, but if you MUST have a change the Tim's on Cobequid would be a great choice. There's icecream next door to it too isn't there?

I guarentee that if our group takes up half the parking lot, we will be asked to leave. Thats what was so good about MicMacMall. Lots of parking. And nobody bothered us. With the Bedford location you will never get us all together. Most places are fine with people loitering as long as it does not hurt business. Or cause a disturbance. In fact some would encourage responsable people to hang out to attract more business. As long as we were self policing the situation all should be good.
