I hope I didn't miss thanking anyone during the closing ceremonies last night, but since I was beat I thought I would reiterate.
Well first of all I would like to thank all the participants for coming out and supporting the event, and I hope you all had a good time.
I would also like to thank all of the trail guides for an awesome job.
I only started attending the Jam meetings over the last couple months or so and wanted to thank the committee members I worked with over that time, so big thanks to Bruce Ward, Terry Hearns, Tony Chase and Kim Fredricks. Others who came out to the meetings since I have been involved and helped out with the decision making and sponsors were Lance Riswold, Richard (D12), Geri Haines and Trevor Engleberts. This event definitely wouldn't have happened without your help and input.
Thanks to Fox Mountain Campground....awesome food and facilities!!!! Also big thanks to John Cranfield and Leslie Doherty for the use of their land for a few of our trails.
Thanks to my wife Paula and those who helped out with the events, registration process and activities throughout the weekend...Bruce and Kelley Ward, Rob Cogswell, Angeline Comeau, Dave Ruginski, Bob Shay, and the mud bog extraction team of Goatse and Jason.
To Mickey for making ALL the events he participated in very funny and enjoyable, and for donating $100 for his last mudpit run to the CF society in memory of Tia. I know you were there in spirit girl...
Last but certainly not least I want to thank all of the sponsors who supported us this year with special attention to Dartmouth Dodge for being our major sponsor again this year.
APJ's for taking at least 95% of the registrations again this year through the shop, and the crack team of techs who kept the vehicles participating as much as possible (Andre,Craig Bennett and Goatse). You guys ROCK!!!. Also thanks to Wendy for showing us what the Scrambler could do in the mudpit...I like the way you roll... ;D.
Major donations of prizes from Ted at National 4WD, Tracy at Peck's Auto Glass performance and offroad, and Ray at Rayjay's Distributing. Thanks very much for your generosity this year guys.
Other sponsors included Warn industries, Pothier Motors, Piercey's Tantallon, Motion Canada, Napa, Valley tire, Covey's Auto Recycler's, Home Hardware, TD Canada Trust, A&S Leslie Contracting, Auto Sense, Auto CHoice, Carquest, B&B Car clinic, Rick Rood's transmission and Cleveland's Decor Center. If you use any of their services in the future please say a little thank you to them for supporting our event.
Again, I hope I didn't miss anyone and thanks again to everyone for coming out.
John
