Yeah figuring some of this stuff is almost as time consuming as building. I tend to make things simple and functional rather than making things complex and "pretty".

lookin good..... very nice clean work no doubt, that buggy's got balls...... even if thier your wife's balls She wasn't too happy about that when she spotted them! Did some more work this weekend. Installed the last of the tubes in the back. Had installed the front tubes last weekend. Made and installed a steering column. Didn't want to have the orbital valve inside with me. But it was too close to the headers so I had to come up with a steering shaft. And last thing I did this morning was try and figure out something for the front. Not sure if I like this stinger yet.... Oh yeah. I installed the ram last night and put the hoses on to check for clearance.

nice work on the steering shafts. orbital is nice and safe down there.
It all looks great man, I'm starting to feel dumb just saying "looks great" lol Not much to critique aside from objective stuff like "looks". The work is all top notch!
I like the stinger, but maybe something different would match the rig better. maybe a 2 bend square-ish stinger.
I don't like the mesh light covers.

I don't like the mesh light covers. I wasn't sure about them either. That was mostly out of necessity. I had no room for lights and rad in the same place so I cut the grill in half and got rid of all lights. Of course that left big gaping holes so I "acquired" some stuff to cover the holes that would still allow air flow to the rad. Not pretty but works.

Have not had much time again. But managed to take it apart and chuck some paint on it. Like Rue mentioned painting tube is one major pain in the butt!!! I was going to paint it "safety green" but an old can of Tremclad flat black called out to me! ;D I like the look of flat black anyway. Decided to keep the stinger as is. Firewall painted up. I got tired of bending metal so pieced it in with scraps but didn't bother grinding the welds off. The IS a light at the end of the tunnel!!!

Wow man.....didn't expect to se paint on it this quick.I like the flat black. As for the welds on the fire wall, they will mostly be covered by the time you get everything mounted.
At this rate ,you might be ready for a shake down run in couple months ;D

How wide is your rig to the outside of the tires?

How wide is your rig to the outside of the tires? Rue Sorry man. I keep forgetting to measure when I'm out there. Mounted the rear winch tonight. And then ran the fuel lines. What a HUGE pain the the butt! Time to start putting it back together. ;D Have to figure out where to mount the cutting breaks and a bunch of the little time consuming stuff.

Sweet buggy. I'm not very bright when it comes to buggies and modded out suspension so I have to ask a silly question. What's the winch for? To lower the rear suspension?
