Also have 3 of the large East coast Jonny joints for my front link setup, that was what the coil overs are for...the front of the rig. Keeping the air shocks in the rear.

You won't notice the little Fawkups after they get a layer of dirt on them? The FOAs are a good shock for the price, and they are going to look just as good as the others after you get a season of wheelin on them in the mud and dirt of N.S. ..LOL
I was hoping to have mine this afternoon, but the courier never came..Hope they come tomorrow.
Looking forward to the Build.

Exactly, nothing to hurt the performance just cosmetic stuff really.
I'd like to see what length and rates u went with. I remember u saying 20ish for belly height, I want to be close to the same.

they are a bit ruff finish but not bad.. the important part is that they work well and are durable. that's where it counts. the black anodizing will be sweet looking.. can't wait to see the truck once you got it up..

I went with the 14" travel shocks.I "think" that I ordered 150/110 for the front,or somewhere in that area. Rue

lol.. these are the coils you ordered and I sent rue..
90 110 125 150
1 of the advantages of having a few sets sold locally (mostly all were 2.0 shocks) is that it builds an "exchange Network" for coils. surely there is going to be some interchanging as people tweak their setups. As time and $$ permits I will have more stock to allow a quicker swap..

Thanks Reg.Still waiting on Ray for my shocks .Matt I'm going with,110 over 150 for the front and 90 over 125 in the rear for the first try.I ordered all 14" coils, that way I can switch thema round in the future. I'm interested to see how the same length coils are going to work for you. what are you planning 50/50 compression and droop?
Matt, one thing you can do to help figure out what coils to go with is getting a starter coil for the bottom coil. then get the weight of the truck to sit on them and measure how much they compress. then you can calculate (coil length at rest - coil length compressed)xcoil spring rate This will give you how much your front weighs... then you can start looking at what coils to use up top. being where you drive the truck daily, your probably going to want to look at a bit heavier spring rate then Rue would in his buggy.

COol thanks Rue!! Ya i seen yours sitting at CVO yesterday with the coils on them ready ot go.....looked good even sitting there lol!!!
those rates are deffently too soft for me. From what i've re-searched on Pirate 175 over 250 up front should get me close if not exactly what i want.....now i was emailing Chris from FOA a while ago and he recomends a 16" lower with a 12" on top. SO i would be interested in trying both setup lengths AND weights to see the ride height difference. Lots of loot to tie up in coils tho so who knows. Also seems like i should have went tripple rate to get it low, running the small tender with a 10" upper to hold tension on the coils when drooped out.
Truck is outta D.D. duties but will still get driven around town and such so i want it low and to handle well.

I think the same lenght coils shouldn't be a problem. That what I was running on last years buggy. I hoping to 60/40 compression/droop.That seem to work good for the way I drive.

Hopefully your 125's turn out to be no good for you rue. ;D. I find my 110's too soft. Lol
