Let me know on the oil pan Scott as I'll have to pull one off one of the trucks. As for the transfercase shift linkage, that may be a small problem. Which pieces do you need? Everything is shared with the more common 4.0/AW4/231 combo except the long rod that actually hooks to the case. There are currently no 4wd 4cyl XJ's or MJ's here or at work, both my scrap MJ's are 2wd. Good news is we stripped a 4cyl XJ and saved absolutely everything that may ever be useful, I defineately have the shift rod but it's been over 5 years since I've seen it. I'll start looking if that's the piece you need.

I need the long shift rod , I ~think~ I have one in the parts bin. I will bring it with me to see if it fits your truck if I still have it.

Think all that linkage is hanging off Ol'Blue bud.
You should drop over to see what you need here**** second time saying that.

Taking the pan off to weld? I've heard stories of them blowing up from the gas fumes in the crankcase. Not sure if these are old wives tales or not, but be careful anyways!

they guy told me the reason it wont go into 4low is because the tranny mount swelled and the linkage hits the floor or something.
