Nice Clean work! Welds look Great! Front axel looks great too. You would never know the axel tubes were pieced together. Trever

thanks, where the tubes were 1/2 inch thick i veed them and was comfortable to make them smooth without sacrificing strength. your tj flexes like mad its awsome.

That looks like a GM corporate 10 bolt front. Did you leave it full width or narrow it? Gears? and wondering what you're using for a rear axle?

it is a corp 10 bolt well now a drivers side one it is full width 4:10 gears soon to be 5:13 and the rear is full float 14

Oh. Couldn't tell from the other photos that the rear was a 14 bolt. So the front is the 3/4 ton 8 bolt version then? I know of a guy selling one set of 5.38's for a ten bolt if you wanted to go higher than 5.13's. And I should have some spiders and side gears for the ten bolt here if you ever need some.

what kinda welder are you butt-welding that with? Did you do any sort of alignment?

I know the guy who did the axles. He's done 3-4 now. All have been beaten on hard, no issues. Hell, he's cut the ends off axle shafts shortened then and welded them back together and hasn't broken them! And those were in his built 360 YJ and his 5.9 cummins YJ! He knows his welding.

thanks stevens i need some back up, and the tubes were not butt welded and there was lots of measuring in doing this, the last one him and i did was within factory spec on a four wheel alignment machine
