I took it to APJ'S and they got the auto choke working great now it runs at high rpms and then drops off after a minute. But i am still having a problem after 5 or so minutes of driving the jeep cant keep an idle its as if the choke doesnt stay on long enough any ideas? and do u think turning up the idle would help any, and i have just been trying to trouble shoot it and is seems that the rpms drop and the auto choke turns off when i have it over 2000 2250 and then drop in the cluch is there any way that running the engine at high RPM's could shut off the auto choke?

I used to have an '83 Civic Wagon with a manual choke and loved it.

If the idle is good when warm don't change it. It should be possible to have the choke stay on a little longer. If you don't feel able to do it get APJ to do it but remember they will need it long enough to get good and cold at least twice, so they can check the new setting. John
