Hey Folks,
4 High seems to disengage spontaneously whilst in-use. The dealer says that it cleaned up the area around the linkage and that it could find nothing else wrong. I have not yet tried it - but does anyone agree that cleaning it up could solve the problem? I will pick it up later today to test it out.
Thanks,
MC

It seems to work - but it is not 'tight' going into 4 high. What I mean by that is when I pull the lever up, it would hit 4 high at the first 'stop' in the transfercase. Now, I have to fiddle around with it a bit to 'find' 4 high. That is mildly annoying.

Do you have a body lift or transfer case drop?

What are you running for a rig, so we'll have some idea of your T-Case.

TJ that only goes offroad alone and never gets stuck and/or damaged. Who does the service on your ride there Mr Cummings?

Could it be the small bushing in the linkage? Mine was giving me issues for a while.

Yup - 231 Duane.
Mike - I am pretty sure they swapped the bushing the last time I was in (the forst time I complained about the issue).
Len - Halifax Chrysler
Admittedly, I have been off on my own for a while - travelling a lot more with work has made life interesting.
