My CD player is gettin old an worn out. Prolly just dirty!! But where its in the tuffy security console its prone to dirt and crap fallin right in the slot where cd goes.
Option 1- new cd player wit flip face that hides slot when in use. Option 2- CD changer under dash behind glovebox where computer used to be. (I dont use dash so i can remove the box portion easily enuf to access the changer!)
Gimme ur opinion and setup and if changer is in order, what brand is solid enuf not to skip on dirt roads and harsh bumps in YJ?? Dont use it on trail cuz i like to hear what im hittin!
TIA Justin

Justin, ever thought of buying a marine face plate? they are pretty simple concept. They are a cover that you install first then install your stereo. they are a bubble shape and flip up when you are using the controls and when it's closed they are water proof so i would imagine it would solve your dust issue. But then again may just be a PITA everytime you want adjust your stereo.
Just a thought.
