Even better... It is pretty cool that you have documented so much on video. It is nice to be able to dig into the archives once in a while

Every year there is one or two moments that "make" the event for me...
My first Jam in 2005 was surrounded a "what is this going to be" kind of thing as Big 6 and I were getting ready to leave. As we cruised down the highway with a small convoy and the top down on the Jeep I could tell I was in for something fun. It was everything and nothing I had expected. This was also the year of the great paintball fight!
A couple years ago one of my very best friends entrusted me with his rig (due to unfortunate self-incapacitation LOL) on not only the trail he was doing that day, but going thru the mud pit full throttle. There aren't words adequate enough to tell you the feelings that went through my head and heart, but the memories still make me smile.
There are so so so many things and people that have made the Jeep Jamborees I've gone to very special. Small jokes between a couple of people that we still laugh about, big shows of horsepower and skillful driving that amaze and impress and simply the fun and relaxed atmosphere when the trails are done for the day and you can sit around and get to know your fellow Jeepers better.
A huge thanks has to go to the Jam committees past and present who have organized and thought through all the details that make the event run the way it does!
If you've never been to one before... book the time. Go. Wheel. Laugh. And come home with a ton of one-of-a-kind memories.

I don't wanna scare off any participants , this was just a fluke...
I was tail-gunner with Beth and Big 6 on Tia's Trail, we had just had a little drivers meeting before entering the trail where I told everyone "this trail is considerably off-camber and you are going to feel tippy quite often BUT no one has ever rolled and I don't expect anyone ever will."
Beth, 6'r and all the participants had just gone through the first major obstacle and it was now my turn, so I pulled out my thermos, poured a big cup of coffee and down the hill I go just like the other hundred times I had run the trail and
this has never happened again on this trail, it was mostly due to my cockiness because I was trying to hold the high-side of the trail while it was raining and slick as snot...
During the closing ceremonies when they were handing out the Jeep 101 certificates I heard my name called which puzzled me, I went up and they handed me a 101 certificate with the bold lettering across it that read "REVOKED" lol It was funny! Good times!!
There are so many great stories from the Jamboree that I could spend days writing stories...

LOL, good times. Forgot to mention why u were driving the ZJ and not the TJ!! Thx for the loan! Last Jam i guided at, couple years ago few of us left from Rays shop late as usual, cuttin it close. Hey its tradition right?!! I was towin the YJ with the ZJ and Ray towing the Donkey with the Colorado. Magazine hill, the water pump goes in the ZJ. NP, go back to Rays and rob one off a block he had sittin around. Go back reinstall and reseal took an hour or so. Back on the road......... about 1km down and the seal pops on the waterpump. Dont use the cheap RTV from PA!!! We were running out of time to do this again and hope it holds, not to mention very little good rtv to use. We decide to ditch the ZJ at my apt. and come back for the YJ. We drop both my rigs at my place and burn it to the Jam. We roll into base camp about 3am. unload the Donkey and all spare gear. Turn n Burn back to sackville to tow mine back. (YJ not legal at this time) We finally roll back into base camp, and unload the YJ. By that time we were all past tired and pretty wound up for the day ahead. Propped up rays boggers and sat down in them for chairs just in time to watch the sunrise over the hill at Fox Mountain....... what a sight! To top it off i dont think we slept sat night there was so much goin on round the fire! All in all, every Jam has moments that can never be duplicated or replicated............

Where to start, so many good times and memories.
I think it was the last year or the Chrysler sponsored Jam, packed up the XJ, the boys and I headed to Halifax at 6:15am to pick up Joan from work, hit the 101 and huge clouds of smoke start rolling out from under the Jeep. Pull over by the Beaverbank road exit to find the drivers side front brakes on fire. Limp it into APJs and have the seized caliper almost removed by the time the guys show up to get things ready to head down the valley. They source me a new caliper and find me some half decent used pads in the scrap yard. Get it all back together and hit the road. About half way to Windsor I start getting clouds of smoke every time I top a hill and let off...input seal on the tranny is leaking. Drop Joan off at the hotel and limp to Bear River pouring fluid in the tranny every little while. Alan and I start ripping her apart, get a smoking deal on a seal from Tim down at Clare Dodge, and get it all back together and back to base camp by 9pm.
Love how everyone comes together to get a Jeep moving when necessary.
I think that was the same year I toasted the tranny crossmember the first day in the bog on Fred's Farm, Lance gave me a new crossmember and Andre helped me install it that night up at John's farm.
Was also the year I had the guys from Low-Range magazine riding along with me.
