I know your looking at cost and stuff, but Tim at TMR can get the PSC ones for like $450 or something.. 2wk waiting period. I've been looking around and trailgear cut us out, guess we didn't sell enough.. sorry.

Added the roof and window bars this evening. Uploaded with ImageShack.usI was originally going to put a small radius at the front of the bars to match the sides but decided I liked the look of them straight instead. Have to figure out the rear corner tie ins. I have some ideas on this but I'm sure THAT will change! Uploaded with ImageShack.usAnd put some tires on to give a bit of an idea how it will look. Managed to get the engine mounted today. Not a whole lot that hold a 4 wheeler engine on the frame Two on the bottom and one on the top. Uploaded with ImageShack.usUploaded with ImageShack.usUploaded with ImageShack.usUploaded with ImageShack.usDON'T TRY THIS AT HOME! Although I don't like the thought of using tractor joints I figured this buggy won't be used too much to wear out the joints... Uploaded with ImageShack.usSo off to PA I went and bought some tractor links. Cheaper than what I had originally planned on doing.

What are the front struts out of? You shouldn't have any issues with the tractor links, they will proably start to rattle, but that little power plant shouldn't be able to break them. ;D

The struts came from a Honda civic. I may cantilever them to get more travel out of them. Yeah. I'm not too concerned with the tractor links. I had thought about making a one link front and rear but it will now be a more traditional 3 link. A nice thing about mounting the engine with a divorced t-case is if I ever find a bigger engine it will be easy to swap out.

ive got a tractor link used for my front panhard to keep the rig from flopping on its side while cornering! works awesome and hasnt worn out at all. threads are welded to keep from adjusting. dont need to disco on trial either. wikked articulation.

Another productive morning! ;D Mounted the front suspension. Had "plans" to cantilever the struts however THERE AIN'T NO FRICKIN' ROOM on this buggy Also I ended up make a double triangulated front 4 link taking into account the tires. Uploaded with ImageShack.usThen I made a grill. I have always wanted to make a hotrod 35 ford so this was my attempt at that look. Uploaded with ImageShack.usSo the question becomes.... Should I continue the hotrod theme and make vertical stainless bars to look like a grill or.... Should I continue with kids theme and make a stainless Transformers Decipticon looking grill? Uploaded with ImageShack.usWhatcha thinks?
