couple guys down in the valley have built them for haulin their drag cars around...... very handy

Wheelin trip across North America is 2011. I got 5 weeks and I am just gonna take the small rural roads and stop in wherever I see modified Jeeps.

I would totally roll in that.... X2! Raises the age old question; run a cheap car back and forth to work and have something like this, or run a big $$$ truck all the time and just have one vehicle. Decisions, decisions.

Decisions, decisions. It's not really a hard decision, although the bus is cool it really wouldn't fit in very many places, picture trying to stop for a coffee. While bouncing in the back of the bus as a kid I bet you never once thought "Gee, this is a cool ride, it's wicked comfortable and shifts like a dream." The track racers always have a place to put them, us not so much. The last run was a snowy parking lot, that bus would still be stuck there. It's more fun to talk about than own.

Probably not tall or wide enough. and that's a bad thing? still would be a pretty decient rig. can't say i've ever driven a bus, but i know i can put a fire truck into some pretty bad spots.... a bus, without expensive lights, and not worried about scratching... no problem. i'm sure the lack of the weight of our trucks would be a - in the snow, but with a good set of bandags, i doubt you'd have it stuck, anywhere a 2wd truck, and a trailer could go.
