Im trying to get OHV insurance for the buggy without much luck. My insurance company will not cover it because its home made. Anyone able to get OHV insurance for a buggy.
They would insure it as a jeep for $1000+/year and would not cover any accidents that occur off road!!
Any help would be appreciated

I was hoping to get pulled over, I'm so damn legal. I also don't have my OHV safety driving course, so I drive like a maniac up hills. With the addition of a helmet I may be unstoppable.

Well I tried Cooperators who do carry royal sun alliance and since it has been considerably altered they will not cover it. I told the lady that it had a roll cage, 4 point harness and was basically a tank but as she put it " the rules say homemade or significantly altered vehicles can not be covered"
Any other suggestions or the name of a good agent that understands what type of vehicle i have?

I want ATV insurance. I was told the jeep insurance wouldnt be $1000+/year and would not be valid off road.
