You can get it in black but its more expensive for some reason. Peadmont Plastic on Ackerly should have some, all the UHMW we have is thick 1" or more or I would be able to hook ya up.

lookin good guys.. You'll love the boatsides on the trail.. your not hitting the rockers in ALOT of situations you normally would. Its gonna be interesting to see the difference between the KM2s and the CCs. Were the Ccs wore out that much? or were you just tired of the thick sidewall?

I bought Black UHMW 1/2" thick from Peadmont, and it was cheaper than the white 3/8 that I had last year. They told me that the black was cheaper because it's not food grade, where as ther white is.
Good guys to deal with too.

We should have her done and out of the garage by the weekend I'm looking forward to taking the KM2's for a rip, I can't imagine how good the Jeep will drive with tires that balance, she should drive better than a brand new stock Jeep Jeff

Its gonna be interesting to see the difference between the KM2s and the CCs. Were the Ccs wore out that much? or were you just tired of the thick sidewall? I somehow missed this post...thanks Reg!, yeah the Creepy's were getting down and they just wouldn't balance enough for the road. I took the KM2's for a drive today and I was blown away by how smooth and quiet the ride was, no more shimmy or wobbles, my Jeep drives better than a stock Jeep now The sides are done and I couldn't be happier with the way they turned out...pics coming! They look fantastic - even better in person. Just like BobbyXJ said - it looks like it was a factory option. I really like them. Great work Malcolm! Cindy

MLC put the finishing touches to her this morning...there may be a few things added down the road like a skin of UHMW, perhaps a couple cannon ports that will double as jack-off points I'm more then likey gonna get in trouble for this but something just doesn't look right reading that.

that's why you don't mention it, giggle, and move on. now someone is gonna cry and I go deleteing.
Blast them with the cannon! lol
You are going to love 'em Jeff. I left a 1.5" flat spot directly under the rocker before the boatsides to jack off, but have never needed it because i never got hooked up again.
You won't find its much of an issue. And when you have beadlocks, you can jack off them too.
you'll be busy.
