we put a hood over ours, and i made a boom with some duct, and a little flex duct. put the welding bench right under it. and it gets almost all the smoke right off the part, even when stick welding. I was thinking of doing this very thing when I build mine. I like the idea of being able to close it when not in use like Jan did. Is that box insulated in any way? Some solid foam glued to the inside and/ or some weather stripping around the edge of the door might do the trick.

... also, did you think about why that one wall rotted, and not the others? Are the trees blocking too much sun to dry it out?

the fan box is weatherstripped, and I will probably add foam insulation to it as well.

Sun all day back there. it just wasn't sealed anymore, and rotted. once that chipboard it wet its over. the other walls are good.

the rear suspension is a walking beam and some rubber blocks. You can't sack it out.
